Proposal: make path names follow PanSN specification

Thanks a lot for this tool, which is fitting well my needs. As the PanSN specification took over in pangenomes, maybe it could be of interest to use such formatting to path names to ensure compatibility with a wider range of software? It could be cool to have at least the option for it, if it's not the default one, or having a recipe at hand to do such transformation.
